We took advantage of a last-minute frequent flier opportunity and a break in work schedules to go to Florence and Rome.

All photos taken with my Canon Digital Rebel. Most of the outdoor photos used the 18-40 (28-70 equivalent) lens that came with the Rebel. Most of the indoor photos were taken with my 28mm f2.8 fixed lens. A few of the outdoor pictures used polarizer or graduated neutral density.

No post-processing (e.g. Photoshop) has been performed on these images. They're all straight out of the camera, except for being shrunken down to fit 640x480 max size.
