Georgetown, CO and its Loop Railroad

Well, The Colorado Historical Society and the Georgetown Loop Railroad operator have apparently reached an impasse, so October 2004 is likely to be the last year for the Loop to run, at least with its current (steam) consist. As you can see, the weather was great for a train ride, and the train itself was pretty crowded. I'm glad they were running the rod engine, instead of the Shay.
