Caerlon: Roman Isca

The town of Caerlon was built on top of the Roman legionary fortress of Isca, home of Legio II (name)

There are two good museums, one built on top of the Roman baths, and the other is a replica of a Roman temple. This museum focuses on the Roman legions. There's a replica of a Roman legionary barracks room, very dark. While we were there, we tagged along with a school group, and one lucky student got to try on the Roman armor:
